Quick and Moist Sour Bread 5 c Flour
2 2/3 tb Baking Powder
1 ts Baking Soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/3 c Sugar
1 1/2 c Sour Cream
12 oz Light Beer
3 ts Butter
Preheat oven to 350. combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt
and sugar. Add sour cream and beer alternately, mixing well. Pour
into greased 2 quart casserole. Bake 50 minutes. Melt butter and
brush over surface of bread. Bake 20 to 25 minutes more. Use the cake
test for doneness. Serve plain or toasted.
