Quick Carrot Bisque 1 c Water
1 pk Instant chicken broth
1 1/2 c Sliced carrots
1/2 c Sliced celery
2 ts Dehydrated onion flakes
1/2 c Evaporated skim milk
1/4 c Water
1/8 ts Thyme
Freshly ground black pepper
In a medium saucepan, heat water and broth mix, carrots, celery and
onions to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until carrots are
tender. Place in blender container and process at medium speed until
smooth. Return to saucepan; stir in milk and additional water; heat.
